What should a large furniture store do to increase online sales?
Wanting to address the demands of the market, Abra – the largest non-manufacturing chain of furniture stores in Poland – wished to provide its customers with an innovative online store. Until then, Abra Meble did not consider online sales a priority. New opportunities to present products online and the growing openness of customers to buying furniture online have changed this standpoint.
The two-track approach to the project: the requirements set by the desktop version of the store were completely different from the expectations of the customers visiting the store using their mobile devices. Each version was designed to guide the customer from making a product selection to purchase in the easiest possible way, guaranteeing the best user experience at every step and a flawless purchase process that the customer would be fully satisfied with.
Using the Magento platform, we developed and then continuously improved the online store, taking into account the expectations of Abra Meble customers at every step of the purchasing process.
Products were presented in a contemporary manner, providing the customers with a set of persuasive arguments needed to make a purchase decision. Abra Meble’s turnover increase in the digital channel has led to our long-term cooperation. We have also implemented other modules streamlining the business process and prepared the site for migration to the new version of Magento.
